Banksy is a graffiti artist known for delivering a strong message (often through irony) in his graphically challenging works. The webpage is set out in an easily accessable, simplistic manner that reinforces his graphic style.
Du preez and Thornton Jones photograph using light as though it is a tangeable, malleable substance, this is the effect I was aiming for in my light photograph. The beauty of their works is in their ability to manipulate light to their advantage.
The blog on 'Blind Photography' a somewhat ironic term, challenges the readers definition of art and who can create it, enforcing the idea that art is for everyone regardless of their deficiencies.
